I wonder, would people want to get library books in the mail, like Netflix/zip.ca? You pick the book online, same way you do now to get books on hold, then it gets mailed to you (instead of sitting on a hold shelf waiting for you to pick it up

I like the idea but I would be terrible at it because I take so long reading that the poor people waiting for the book would become annoyed. It would be cool if the library could charge you an extra fee if you would like to do that. Maybe they could have different membership levels. Libraries are usually pretty cash strapped though.
