I wrote the first song of what I hope will be our rock and roll explosion tonight, it's very dirty and grungy and it's only about 2 minutes long but it rocks like fuck.

I'll write a couple more then pop through for a jam, if it works ok then we can see about getting a bassist and drummer to join the fun :D

Oh, if we get round to doing the rock thing, which I really hope we do, should we perform under a different name?

Cos 'Strangers Almanac' doesn't really suit a grungy rock band, but then if we do the double album thing it'd be weird with both sides performed by 'different' people if that makes any sense at all.

If we have a different name for the rock thing, it should be dead simple. 'The... something..'. Any thoughts? Ideas?

My initial thought was 'The Rock' but then I remembered about the wrestler of the same name.

Actually, 'The Something' is a pretty cool name. Or 'The Somethings'. What do you reckon?

Can we call ourselves 'The Somethings'? That'd be cool... I think...
