The move went well. The two guys from Craigslist were friendly and determined despite the rain and packed their cargo van four times like Tetris addicts to get all the big furniture moved. His stuff and my stuff look amazing together in the new place. It's freakishly huge and lovely. Filled with light all day. The heating system is the best I've encountered in an SF apartment. I got my little office set up nicely, with privacy and nice views from the computer desk. We're doing really well figuring out what should go where, and he likes some of my stuff, whereas I thought he hated all of it. The cat is purring her little motor out, thrilled at all the exploration, new places to perch and flop and nap, and having two people to love her.

I was happy as a clam to come over to the Squid's tonight, knowing that the kitty is happy and all my stuff is in one place. There's no pit stop to make.

Of course, I'll have to make another few trips to pack up the leftover and clean, but it'll all be done by the end of the week.

Also, my sister seems to be doing pretty well and is coming out to visit me for a few days during her spring break in April. It'll be great to see her and show her my new place. We'll go see Wicked and see if we can get some cheap opera tickets too. Should be quite fabulous! She's having a rough last semester of high school and can really use the chance to get away and something to look forward to.
