- I'm all registered for the expensive class at Golden Gate University, but planning to show up the first night of a couple sections of the class at City College to see if I can get in there instead and save money. If I do, I'll definitely be able to get a refund from GGU.
- Headed down to San Diego for the Big One tomorrow night.
Quite trepidatious about the crowds. If it's even a tiny bit bigger than last year's, it'll be insanely overwhelming, and I hear that tickets are sold out and Preview Night last night was even swamped. Thank god the comics section is less packed than the movie/game sections. I really don't mind crowds, usually, but 120,000 people trying to cram into one building (even a monstrous one) and not looking where they're going is a little too much. Especially since my face is at armpit height and my breasts are at elbow height.
- Worried I'm getting another sinus/chest infection.
Have been low energy and feeling more allergic for a couple days despite sticking to medication regimen (cetirizine hyrdrochloride, two shots of eye drops and two shots of nasal spray every day). Now is the time to put my money where my mouth is and man up to the neti pot.
- Cat is noticeably calmer after just two days of hyperthyroid meds.
I kind of wish I could just slightly tweak mine to be a little higher without, you know, tweaking. Just enough to keep off the extra five or 10 pounds that are often all I can see in the mirror and have a little more energy. Caffeine would probably do that, but caffeine is a non-starter.
- I'm back to seeing my shrink regularly, which is a good thing.
- I've had two drum lessons, and they're definitely worthwhile.
It strikes me that I'm hearing the same thing from the drummer as I did from the black belts at jujitsu (which I miss): Go slower, loosen up and relax. A tense body and mind does not produce good music or mayhem easily. I think this is something that probably is applicable throughout my life, and I'll try to keep it in mind.
