I wonder if I should be as suspicious as I am about the boy's death.

From what I've heard, I can't help but think it was intentional.

People are saying the senior students and the teacher couldn't even put it out. I don't think a mere first-year could create a spell too powerful for them to extinguish.

This bothers me.

A lot.

I got out to town this weekend.

It's a nice little place. Very quaint.

Almost like home, but less bright.

Classes aren't hard, but they're not a breeze. Just right, I suppose.

I need to find something to do around here to occupy myself...

Can't sleep.

It's too quiet.

I'm too used to the trains lulling me to sleep at night.

This place is much darker than home. It's strange.. getting used to it.

Hopefully I'm not keeping Cloud and Riku up with my typing.

Here I am, up early again.

I hope I won't disturb anyone if I head to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Or, if I take a shower, for that matter.

I'm not terribly impressed with class.

I'm sure things will pick up for me, though.

Weapon Handling was interesting...

..especially when I proved that I can dual-wield just fine and that I insist on doing so.

Hand to hand was generally enjoyable. The teacher is.. a character, to say the least.

Lunch is nearly over.

To Elementals, I guess.

It's early still, but I can't sleep.

Axel always did say I was easily excitable.

I refuse to admit he can ever be right.

I suppose I'll start getting ready for class.
