Ahhh!!! I once went to Edinburgh and LOVED it. I hope you love it there, too! If you have time while out wandering, please drop in at Neanie Scott's on the Mile and introduce yourself to the owner. (http://www.neaniescott.com/) - tell her where you're from, tell her you heard about her from a friend in the US (Kansas City), etc. She'll be tickled. She was the friendliest shopkeeper I met there and we talked FOREVER. I doubt she'll remember me (it was 2009 when I was there), but she'd get a kick out of knowing she was so fondly remembered, I bet. :)

:D I really liked it when I visited here last year (hence the decision to move here lol). I will definitely go and say hello at some point!

I'm glad you arrived safely! I also see you have your priorities set as you have already located the local Lush! ;)

Delighted to see you in print already, and most interested to read about your flights. "he didn't get up ONCE" that was really lucky for you. 14 hours - he must have been descended from a camel. Great that you've been meeting friendly people everywhere. It must be the smile.
Hope the BC meet-up was as good as expected.
Happy travelling and job hunting.
