Favre was planning this since Feb... He will be make an attempt to get on the Bucs or someone like that.
I'm on TT's side as much as it is weird. There are just ways to go about things and I don't see what the Packers gain by having him play OR letting him go. He should retire.
what i think is weird is that there really hasn't been any concrete evidence, just unsubstantiated rumors and text messages. it all seems so crazy. i just need someone to come out and say what's up.
of course the packers can't take him back. they're retiring his fucking number this year. it's over. and besides, i can't think of team that should take him. everyone has young talent at qb or a young team that isn't in a position to go all the way with a veteran. and what's he thinking trying to start over with a new system? basically, the mistake he made was by waiting to decided after each year and then coming back with uncertanties. what he should have done is said, let's do one more year, make another run at the title, then i'm out. well, too late now.
but yeah, retire. i think he should play for a semi-pro team like the oak creak cyclones.
