The first few days were really hard. I just missed Tim a lot and
didn´t know what to do with myself in Alajuela. But now that Courtney
is here and we are in Orosi it is a million times better. It rains a
lot, but it is so much cooler than it is in Baltimore that I don´t

Haha, that's totally not what I meant... Your tone and the whole "I'm staying with this family and I have no idea what they're saying to me, and then we go hiking" was what reminded me.

oh gotcha.. sorry. hahaha. It is funny how much of the time I misunderstand what people are saying, and now I misunderstood you in English.

Last night I got into this totally confusing conversation with my host mom where I thought she was saying that my alarm was going off early in the morning all weekend, and I was like, that´s impossible, I had my alarm with me at the beach. Later, her bilingual son explained that he needed to borrow my alarm to wake up early tomorrow and she was just asking if that was okay.
