I've always wondered (since 1977) if this was still the case: do the upcoming generations of "Persian" men still get taught that women are either "Wives" or "Prostitutes"? (I was told this by an Iranian "student" with whom I had a brief close, shall-we-say, relationship, after my first divorce). That particular individual was obsessed with finding an American virgin, apparently, and of course divorced females were automatically in the 2nd aforementioned category, due to not being virgins. He told me all this matter-of-factly since I was in the "knowledgeable category" and would not have (I don't think) said anything to a "unknowledgeable" female.
