june post part 1
*june 14, 2006*
today i woke up early. around 6:30ish. got ready and then went to the car dealership w/ my dad. dropped off my car for a tune-up and an oil change. i thought it would take longer but they finished in around 45 minutes. that's good. went home. watched tv a bit and then took a nap. woke up again around 1:30. i needed the sleep. hehe. ate brunch and watched tv. then i got a haircut. it's now $8 and not $7. oh wells. went home and chilled. showered and shaved. watched so you think you can dance. aww, i miss dancing now. =(. i really liked travis and martha. i thought they did really well. and jamyes is pretty cute. hehe. too bad hawk isn't in the final. dangget rules. so yeah, enjoyed today's episode. i want to dance again. either join a hip hop team again or take ballroom classes. =). we'll see though cause there's not a lot of time when you work fulltime. bleh. so yeah, my internet's not working. that sucks. i need to start looking for a job again. old navy is getting tiresome and i think i need the change. it's been difficult finding time to write in my journal. more often though, it's cause of my laziness. i'd rather watch tv or play video games or surf online than do this. =/. but yeah, i miss my journal and hopefully i can write quite a bit right now. alright then, letterz ...

today i worked from 10-7. was supposed to work until 6 but stayed later. =). work was okay i guess. cashiered mostly like always. i also sized and recovered women's shop 1. did my best. stan pulled me aside to have a talk with me. basically, he's not referring me to the visual supervisor position at fashion valley. i guess they're really looking for someone with extensive experience in that field and although i have some, it's not good enough. oh wells. surprisingly i wasn't completely bummed out about it. my situation just sucks. i know i need to work on things but they chose this time to look for people with experience. it wasn't like before when we promoted from within and whoever got the position learned in the process. i guess my timing sucks. but yeah, that's life. can't take it too much into heart. can't be bitter forever. i'll figure something out. well anyways, enough about that. clocked out and then returned date movie at hollywood. then went to blockbuster. returned the dvds and rented aeon flux and bourne identity. wanted chinese food but let it go. just ate at home. chilled, watched tv, played video games, eventually slept ...

woke up late today and showered. went to work from 2-4. we had this RAD training thing. it was okay i guess. compared to the other training's before, it was more interactive. afterwards, i had time to kill cause i didn't wanna go home through traffic. so i went to fashion valley jc penney cause i had my coupon. took me an hour to figure out what i wanted. dangget. hehe. got this one boy's short sleeve shirt. i liked it and i bought other colors. i might return it though cause they were $15 each and i REALLY need to stop spending too much money. even though i buy 'cheap' stuff, i buy a lot of it and it definitely adds up. i guess if i wasn't paying for my car, it wouldn't matter much. but i am. ehh, oh wells. anyways, drove through traffic around 5:30ish. surprisingly it wasn't that busy. whoo hoo! got home and ate. i was soo hungry. decided to watch the machinist. i guess it was okay. reminded me of fight club but still okay overall. glad i finally saw it. then did my nightly routine and went to sleep ...

today i had work from 1-8. it was okay. cashiered a lot. it was okay for a sunday though. not too busy and not too slow. closed registers. damian said we could go home after i finished it and so we clocked out at 7:15. left and went home. chilled. the usual. slept.

happy 3 year anniversary baybuh! hehe. =). today we woke up pretty late. babe left for work and i ate breakfast while watching tv. chilled and got ready. went to the dentist. i guess my mom called them to cancel my appointment since there was an insurance discrepancy on my root canal. that's cool though i guess. no numbness in my mouth today. hehe. anyways, i went to albertsons. bought some food and anniversary stuff. i got some roses (since they didn't have lilies), a balloon, and a card for my babe. went home. chilled, showered, and got ready. first went to the chinese food place to get food cause i was the hungriest. went to my babes house and ate the food there. after a while, went to plaza bonita. nothing at jcpenney and i forgot my stitch return. dangget! oh wells. then we went to 99cent only. i guess spend our anniversary there. hehe. bought some random food and meal replacement bars to help with my diet. then we went to walmart. browsed around and i got mortal kombat 1 and 2 and a boys polo. went to hollywood video and rented date movie. went back to my babes house and watched it there. it was pretty good. not as funny as scary movie but still okay. hooray alyson hannigan. =). watched spec feat. and then went home. chilled a bit and then slept ...

today i worked from 12-8. cashier again mostly. pretty boring day. still felt bleh and bitter about the whole supervisor thing but i tried to not let it get to me. =/. clocked out at 8 and then took chris home. went home myself. watched the mtv movie awards with jessica alba. it was pretty cool. hooray jake gyllenhaal. =). tried exercising and then my babe called me from nowhere. i guess he was outside. let him in and exchanged presents. technically it was our anniversary already since it was past midnight. thanks baybuh for the roses! i also got the dancing stitch from disney store that i wanted as well as think pink stitch which was from valentine's day but sold out. thanks baybuh!!! *muahz*. he also gave me a cd. =). i got my baybuh some clothes at old navy. hehe. there was this one button down that he wanted and i also got him 3pairs of jeans. i know he doesn't really like clothes that much but hopefully he still appreciates it.

worked from 10-7 today. they had a logistics meeting with corporate people so i spent my lunch at borders. at least i got to write down updates for my journal. =). right before damian left, he told me they would be picking some other person for the logistics position. i felt all bleh afterwards. i honestly thought i had a good chance at the job but i guess they chose someone with more experience than me. i felt i was the most qualified, being that i've been working at this old navy for 3 years now and i know the ins and outs of the job. but i guess i was wrong. =/. felt all crappy afterwards. clocked out at 7 and then left. just chilled in my room. i tried to act happy but i still felt sad at the end. ehh. eventually slept ...

worked 12-8 today. at least that's what i was scheduled for. they actually asked me to stay later so i did. i was supposed to work until 9 but stan said it was okay to stay later and so i stayed until 10. hooray 1 hr overtime. =). otherwise though, it was a pretty boring day at work. same old same old. clocked out and got gas for my car. went home. the usual. slept ...
