Perhaps we should give those antivaxxers this (not yet peer reviewed) paper, which says irrigating the nasal passages with saline does have some positive benefit. Probably because it is physically blasting out the mucus and its viral load. Of course, it has to be done immediately after testing positive, and the people in the study who were most ill may have been less willing to squirt salt water up their nose so there may be sample bias. But at least it'd be less harmful than the other weirdness people are doing.
