The entire thing, as far as Maladicta was concerned, had been a bust. Not in the fun way, or the copper way. In the 'my country doesn't work anymore because its patron deity has gone mad', busted way. "I'll talk to the IPD," William was saying, moving at a fair clip down the path towards the scene of the news. Crime. Scene of the crime. "You take any Innocent Bystanders that were-" he waved a hand, figuring out the phrasing, "Shocked by Shootout? Yes."

He was fairly absorbed in working this out and only keeping half an eye on where they were going so he'd know when they got there. As such, he almost missed Maladicta up ahead.

"She is? Right, okay, do we know where she is?" William said, pulling out his notebook and recording this, occasionally glancing at the path enough that he wasn't going to fall over.

"Not definitely," Sacharissa replied, "but my best guess is she'd be in the clinic with her husband." It was simpler that way. Looking in front of her just long enough to be sure she wasn't about to walk into a branch, she continued. "We can both head there after the scene, each take one of them."
