I dont WANNA stay awake til 3 every night!! I wasnt partying anyway! They all came in at 1am when id gone to bed!! And then said, oh, we wont be here long, we'll leave soon. And then they invited MORE people over and started playing music!! HOW IS THAT LEAVING????? Sorry. I think the thing that pissed me off the most was when i asked if they could go next door they said no, because one of their flatmates next door was sleeping. So, her sleep is more valuable than mine?? its ok to keep ME up???? AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was LIVID. I just really needed that one nights sleep. grrr..ah fuck it..I should move away to a remote corner of nowhere where i dont have to deal with other people ever. i think it would be best for all concerned, a friendly and nice person i am NOT :)

Heh heh, I'm exactly the same way when anyone keeps me from sleeping. It's definitely one of the main ways to make me go berserk. And I need to avoid loony ladyfriends who start sulking when I try, as kindly as possible, to suggest that maybe, just maybe, I'd like to go to sleep so I can get up and go to my lousy job in the morning so I can pay for all the stuff she needs, but NO! it's 2 in the morning and time to start cooking soup. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a very similar problem in Union Street. Tell your flatmates they are fucking unreasonable and that you plan on waking them up at 4am every time they have a 9am tutorial the next day and see if that works.

haha, no, its not Union Street. I lived there last year though, and yes, it was hell. So, in comparison this is far far better...except for the times like the one i mentioned :)
But Union Street? Dont even get me started..!! HOW did i ever think living there was a good idea??? How does anybody?? I shudder at the memories.. *brrrr*

Ah I luckily don't know what you mean... yet.

Even though we are 4 people sharing this place, it seems everyone is very considerate and we do not have parties or play load music or anything when someone needs to sleep. There are people living below and above as well, so even when we have vorspiels and such, the music isn't all that loud... yet.

I do wish to hang all people who owns a motorcycle here in Bergen though. My window is facing one of the main roads into Bergen and at night when the roads are rather empty, the bikers seem to be racing each other or something and you can't believe the noise... I thought the ambulances would be bad, but they are little kittens compared to the mutated lion that is motorcycle *grrrr*

Oh and did I mention that I sleep with my window open because I love the fresh air?

My window faces the street too and aaaaaaall the drunks seem to pass by every night :) I have heard so many drunken arguments and melodramatic conversations and fights and God knows what!! I dont want to listen to this stuff but..its hard not to when its going on RIGHT outside my window..I feel like an unintentional spy or something... I NEVER open my window as Im on the groundfloor and Im too scared of breakins *gasp*
Sorry to hear about all the stress youre encountering with loans and courses and stuff! Thats how I feel most of the time too! Even when nothings going wrong, i imagine a million things that COULD go wrong and then start acting as if theyve already happened! So dont stress out! Thats my advice to you! Its not a particularly fun way to be!
