Hi, your post made me think of a new curse word (fog off). Hmm, good luck to you and lousy fishing.

What books of Dickens is good? I am reading some books of Roald Dahl at the moment - considering after The Unfettered Mind by Takuan to maybe read either Umberto Eco Name Of The Rose, Radcliffe or Clive Barker's Books of Blood. If I read the Radcliffe book, you could have someone else to discuss the book with - should I read it next?

Hugses,
Kael

haha, thats oki :)
hm..I mean..Bleak House is quite good but..Dickens just...isnt a particular favourite of my mine. I find an awful lot of it quite cloyingly sentimental. You should definitely read the Mysteries of Udolpho! Thats the book we're covering next friday and im just lost! however the head of the course said its by far the hardest book on the course. He apologised for putting on the reading list but said it was impossible to discuss the Female Gothic without including this novel as it is so important.. i've read a few chapters..i hope it gets easier...
And Im doing my class presentation on Jane Eyre ( I have no idea what they expect!! I must enquire..)

Ah dear...so..just had my first class though..and the room for the second class was double booked. i thought the two lecturors concerned were going to have a little fight right there in the corridor!! hehehe...so class is delayed for 45 mins...... dumdidum

aw

*hugs for you too!* xx
