[Guybrush then pulls out his paper map, and traces the path with his finger, mumbling to himself a little about the journey.] That would seem the fastest way -- in fact, it looks like it is! It's bad I couldn't just cut across the world, but there's these paths for a reason.

And I'm used to long journeys -- I do a lot of them. The seas are rough this time of year, you know. Or any time, so I've got to be prepared in case I get caught out there. Even if it's dry land.

...Mighty Pirate™. But being stranded here is kinda really bad. I'm not good with being away from the ocean for extended periods of time, and I'm also not good at all this new-fangled... stuff. But if I get to the ocean, I might find clues to where this is.

Goldenrod... that's south-west of Route 36, isn't it? It's a bit out of the way, but I'd feel a lot safer around these beasts with a weapon of any kind. Other then my cow. My cow doesn't count.

That's what I guessed. Nowhere in the Tri-Island area had these... monsters. [Three-headed monkeys, sure. But no Pokemon.] Has anybody gotten a map of outside Johto?
