so, everyone complains about red lights. "I hit every red light on my way over here", and sure it sucks. but really, the yellow light is really to blame.

it's the sneaky bastard that starts the red light. more often do people try to run yellow lights. hardly do people try to run red lights (unless your drunk and trying to get away from cops) but you ( Read more... )

I must say, I am quite disappointed. I was expecting a tutorial on why red light was more flattering for actors because it mixes with sunlight to neutralize it or it captures the healthy glow or its wavelength interacts with natural light in a certain way...also, I have reason to believe that you are not in fact "at a stoplight," as you claim. Although, you could probably do a very interesting short film revolving around streetlights, put to music. Maybe an ariel view of the cars interspersed with shots of the light color...to see how cars/drivers react to yellow lights (speed up) vs. red/green, etc. Ooh, that could be really cool! Or maybe I'm just weird :P

wierd is just another word for artist.

its good to hear from you again! i always knew we never talked enough.

and red or yellow light can depict a very positive mood for a film, but its more common film knowledge that orange is for outdoor light where as blue is for indoor. which i always thought would be interesting to use the color green more, see what kind of effect it would have.

and as your film idea, i think its great! i always think up short film ideas that would be fun to do...now that areal shot would prolly be pretty difficult considering my budget.
