Ratatouille: human!Remy/LinguinicaptainzarinaOctober 7 2014, 08:14:38 UTC
Remy is the new chef at Gusteau's, and Linguini has just been hired as a garbage boy. Now Remy finds himself torn between being very dedicated to his job and crushing very hard on Linguini.
While I'm (more than) fine with sexual content, I'd like there to also be a strong focus on the characters and their emotions.
Bonus Points: Remy eventually becomes the only person at Gusteau's who calls Linguini by his first name. (Alfredo)
Bonus Points x10: Remy and Colette as very close, frequently bickering friends.
Bonus Points x100: Inclusion of Remy's brother, Emile, as a character, however briefly. Even if Remy just mentions him.

;_______; i have been waiting for a prompt like this since forever. thank you. (i wonder if any potential filler will include linguini screwing up the soup and remy ending up saving his ass -and both earning skinner's ire while properly meeting each other-. or linguini still turning up to the illegitimate son of gusteau.)

ugh, it hurts my soul that this still hasn't been filled :((( i might end up doing it sometime in the future (because it calls to me, seriously), but i can't make any promises...

i actually did end up filling this, and i might post it tomorrow or the day after that :DD before i did that, though, i have to ask: would you mind if i posted to my lj/ao3 accounts, as well?

Oh of course! Your work; post it wherever you wish! And I cannot wait to read what you've written or see what you've done! I couldn't be happier that you took on this prompt!

eyy i'm glad i've surpassed the super bowl!! i really hope you enjoy, even though i took some minor liberties with your prompt (i couldn't for the life of me figure out how to write emile in, but there is a slight mention of him because i love him to bits) :D
and thank you for prompting (uwu)
"Remy meets Alfredo on a Monday, which sounds kind of irrelevant when he says it like that, but it's not just any Monday - that day also marks the beginning of Remy's successful career at Gusteau's, something that no, he'll never stop being smug about.
Well, it isn't that successful at first. Remy actually starts out as a replacement-trainee chef, and even though that's not much by general standards, Remy's practically ecstatic at the time.
It's actually a first day for the both of them, Remy and Alfredo. There is one tiny difference, though - let's just say, Alfredo's career doesn't start out all that gloriously, either, if only because he's, well - the new garbage boy."
