It comes up in a couple of versions of fairytales (Vasilissa Most Lovely is the one I recall) that the oldest sisters must marry before the younger ones can. Elsa really doesn't want to marry anyone, but won't deny Anna her chance to get married, so she needs to find a way around the problem. Could be silly or dramatic, but I do want her to succeed. They could find a similarly aro-ace or gay guy who needs to keep up appearances, or use the more complicated idea I had in which they find a thoroughly repulsive prince or nobleman who's avoided legal repercussions for terrible things (not Hans, everyone knows about him), go through with the wedding, and then murder him, so technically Elsa has been married and fulfilled her obligation ;P
