Great Mouse Detective, Basil/Ratigan

Ok, so in my prompt Dawson has married and moved on from Basil, and Basil is more interested in his cocaine habit than perusing Ratigan and his antics. I would love to see Ratigan entering Basil's home while Basil is blasted. It's up to the author what happens from there. He can take advantage of the situation, or decide that Basil isn't in his right mind, so it's not really 'winning' in their little game to put him in his place.
