You know what? Let's go old school and slightly obscure. Maybe I won't be the only person on earth to remember this. :D
Fun and Fancy Free--specifically "Mickey and the Beanstalk;" Mickey, Donald, and Goofy trying to keep their minds off how hungry they are. Smut is entirely optional. I kinda wanna see how they'd occupy themselves without the golden harp keeping their fields lush. Milking their unmilkable cow? Dirt farming?
:) I loved it so much when I was little! And I just rented it again this week, which made me think of it. I also think I might do a Bongo the bear prompt, lol. I have a feeling that, like all my other prompts, it will go unfilled, but still.
Before my dad died, we watched movies together all the time: Singin' in the Rain, Oklahoma!, and older Disney movies, like Fun and Fancy Free and Make Mine Music and So Dear to My Heart. I remember, he was the first person I watched a lot of those movies with.

Yay! I was sure nobody else remembered this movie! I mean, nobody I know knows of it anymore around here, but my dad and I used to watch it all the time! And gen is TOTALLY okay!
Because this was JUST the sort of thing I was hoping for. I mean, the hopelessness, the desperation--the shore wishes! And Mickey's try at apologising there at the end ... heartbreakingly bittersweet. Donald and Goofy's coping methods were almost funny, but so fitting, both for their characters and their circumstances, and Mickey just ... poor guy needs a hug. They ALL need hugs!
