Hunchback of notre dame, frollo torturing and raping phoebus (graphical), cursing him because frollo feels attracted to him, wants him to burn with esmeralda. clopin watching, comforting phoebus afterwards.

Okay, I hate torture, but I read this the whole way through in spite of that and this is just... WOW. I love what you did at the end with Clopin using the puppet to comfort Phoebus -- the puppet is so light-hearted and silly and cute yet the idea of a man carrying on a conversation with himself is almost dark and disturbing and insane. The duality there is just awesome. And the Hansel & Gretel allegory!

This is truly inspired. I really liked it. I was like, "Ugh, oh god," at the violent parts, but they helped make the ending even more powerful.

LOVED THIS! It was awesome!!!! Very well written and am actually late for work cause I decided to read through it lols... Seriously loved this! Caught the human element perfectly! Utterly enjoyed this! Thank you for writing it!

How have I managed to not read this before now?!
The dialogue was especially fantastic- all of it, but especially Frollo's. The use of the puppet was absolutely heartbreaking, and quite disturbing.
This has to be one of my favourite fills out of all of these. It's going to stay with me for a long time. Not OP, but thankyou so much for this fill, I really did love it.
