A/N: Not sure if this was quite what you were looking for, but I've given it a shot.
Heavy, heavy influence from the previous fanfic in all its dark glory. My hat of to you, Authornon, wherever you are.
The gypsy sits in the shadows with his head bowed, his bright colours now tattered and wearing to brown. Long legs drawn up to his chest, arms wrapped around them, the little puppet dangling limp between his fingers

I love the silent strength in Clopin. I never did like his character, but you gave his character depth. Love the use of French, and the religious slant.

Heh, I never really was a fan of Clopin until I read some of the fanwork here, and then... yeah, he kinda came to life for me. XD
The Italian translates to, "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here" and is from Dante's Inferno. Why Clopin is speaking Italian I don't know, but there you are. XD And as for the religious stuff, well, all I can say to that is once a Catholic... yeah. XD Even if you leave Catholicism, some parts of it never leave you, and my upbringing probably strongly influenced my reading of Frollo right from the start, heh.
Frollo/Clopin YES I WENT THERE
