Emperor's New Groove/Road to El Dorado crossover, Kuzco/Chel

After escaping El Dorado, Chel runs into Kuzco. I'd love to see her getting increasingly frustrated because she knows he's rich but he keeps giving her (poorly) hand-knit ponchos and taking her out to eat in greasy diners, and the seduction technique totally fails on him.

There was only one thing Chel loved. She liked a few things, she disliked a few more things, and she hated quite a bit. But there was only one thing she loved and that was treasure. Gold, silver, jewels. Anything that shined under the sun

“Kuzco, there’s a girl in the forest!” Chaca screamed, pulling his poncho until it almost ripped. The Emperor ordered the kids to stay put and without thinking rushed into the forest

I don't know how this doesn't already have 209384302948 comments already, but here's my pitiful attempt to make up for that:
That was brilliant. I have only seen Road to El Dorado once (blasphemy, I know), but I have seen TENG approximately a hundred bajillion times, and I love love love the way you portrayed Kuzco here. Still childish and self-centered, but less so - more like that friend you kind of want to whap upside the head and less like the douche he was at the beginning of the movie. And Chaca! Still awesomely hyperactive. I just want to print this out and cover it in spangly heart stickers and imagine the happy future Mrs. Emperor Kuzco, who covers the palace in adorably lumpy ponchos and shiny shiny golden brickabrack.
....I seem to have gotten a bit carried away. I apologize. *blushes*

I find it hilarious that you reviewed this now, since I just watched El Dorado again last night. Chel is so deliciously fun. >:3
But thank you so much! Kuzco was harder to write than I thought he'd be and you saying he was well done makes me so happy! Actually this whole review makes me happy. You're so awesome!
