Gosalyn went downstairs, dressed up as the Good One, and greeted Negaduck and Launchpad when they came back. Seeing them up close, she felt daunted, but pasted on a sweet smile. She was relieved to see they'd brought take-out. The Good One probably cooked for them most nights, and Gosalyn's cover would have been blown pretty quick if she'd attempted that.
They settled around the TV to eat. Gosalyn sat close to Negaduck and after a while noticed he was staring into space, not watching the TV. Time to break the ice.
"What're you thinking about?" she asked in a sugary voice.
"I don't think - I scheme!" he snapped at her. "And right now I'm scheming up a plan so dastardly that your feeble mind would never comprehend it, so shut up and leave me alone

Then Negaduck yanked her underwear down in the back just enough that he could play with her tail feathers, stroking them and curling them around his fingers. It was revolting. But she had to do this. She wasn't related to him by blood, not in either world. Besides, she was a grownup now, and it wasn't like she was innocent. She'd had three boyfriends already and she'd slept with all of them. Well, he was finally sleeping. The worst was behind her, hopefully. Gosalyn was glad for all the years of sports she'd had - they had given her enough stamina to get through the night with Negaduck. She watched him in the light of the early dawn to make sure he was really asleep. Luckily he didn't like to cuddle afterwards, apparently, so she didn't have to risk waking him by crawling out from under his arm. She was exhausted, she was sore, she felt dirty.
