Human!AU set in Victorian EnglandthisismsmercySeptember 26 2011, 23:10:30 UTC
Note: I’ve been without a computer all week and I really wanted to get something in for the fill-a-thon. I knew a bit about the Indian Army and the British Empire (probably should know more as I am actually am British), and I did some research, but I still have no idea how plausible this scenario is and am a bit hesitant to post, so I’m sorry if anything is drastically unrealistic

I can't comment on the historical aspects (me = the polar opposite of a history buff) but FFFFFFFFFF THE CHARACTER DYNAMICS IN THIS. ARE. SO. PERFECT. Bagheera has always been my favorite Jungle Book character and this pairing is one of my favorite Disney pairings ever, so this fic has made me go :DDDDDDDDD.
You've captured Bagheera and Baloo so well, and their relationship is amazing. And Mowgli as this nameless urchin is so perfect too. Love love love love.

Thankyou so much! <3 It does my heart good knowing that people like this, I wasn't even sure I should post it. He's my favourite too, so I'm glad I did him justice :D And there is not enough love for this pairing, seriously.
I really would like to see human!AU. Just go with it.

What really got me was the interaction between the characters, it's so in character and as lively as they originally were.
The realistic backgrounds and solid descriptions, not to mention Bagheera's line of though, just- /swoons
baww, let me hold you, Mowgli ;3;

Your writing style is very pleasant to read, and I loved the charactes.
And let me now go hide somewhere because I didn't use any references for clothes or anything in the picture.
