Herc and Meg are overjoyed when they learn that Meg is expecting. They think that they can finally settle down and start a somewhat normal life. Well, Hades isn't too keen on the idea. He starts some trouble that ends with Hercules being in the way of an oncoming cart. Meg instinctively shoves him out of the way. It wasn't going terribly fast, and it wouldn't have seriously injured him, but something like that is second-nature to Meg. As it turns out, Meg will make a full recovery. The baby, who she lost in the accident, will not.

This was so sad, but so well written. I especially love the way things come full circle, with Hades winning his prize in the end after losing it. So well done! :D
