Rapunzel, better-known as the superhero Hightower, is Corona City's sole defender against various and assorted supervillains, would-be conquerers and world-eating destroyers. Flynn Rider, rather less well-known as Eugene Fitzherbert, is a notorious cat burglar, the one criminal Rapunzel can't catch. Batman-and-Catwoman style romance follows. Bonus points for - The other Disney princesses being a superhero team in the background - This quote "We conducted our courtship on rooftops and fire escapes. A strange flirtation, a hide and seek, a game of cat and mouse..." - Other supervillains appearing - OP has a slight fondness for Mozenrath (particularly when slashed with Aladdin) and Maleficent, but any Disney villain as supervillain would be good.

I think I was the seconded!Anon (but given that it's been a few months, I can't say with complete certainty). I'm glad to see this prompt filled, especially with Edna Mode and pretty much everything she said and slapping Rapunzel and of course, “I make clothes for gods. Not street walkers,”
And for some reason, I just loved that Flynn refers to Maleficent-dragon as a dog and the fact that "Maleficent spent one afternoon of her absence perched on the spire of the tallest building, roaring and swatting at windows with her tail, lighting busses on fire and eating several antennae. She terrorized everyone to the point where they evacuated most of downtown."
I do have a question: is Sergeant Weaver supposed to be anybody within Disney fandom? Just curious.
And there's Sigourney Weaver who played one of the badass women in all of cinema: Ellen Ripley. Also, the Warden from Holes, and that's a (non-animated) Disney. And the Axiom's Computer in Wall-E. I can totally dig it if it's Madame Weaver in any of those incarnations.

I actually am working on more. With Eugene in disguise and Snow White in a helicopter. It'll just take a while.
