older! human! Berlioz x Marie
As children, they were always at odds with each other; Marie flaunting her 'lady-like'ness in such a manner that it was almost obnoxious, forever teasing Berlioz, getting on his nerves enough that he'd use his piano playing skills to steal the spotlight from her, because he knew how much she hated it.
As they grow up, they're spontaneous bouts of competitive horseplay take on a new type of tension.
One night, Berlioz finds himself practicing very late; Marie comes downstairs to sit on his piano, intending to annoy him. However, being alone together at such an indecent hour... causes things to happen.
