I can't even begin to describe how utterly flawless your fill is. Like, oh my goodness. You translated Tantor and Terks personalities so well - the details of clothing, their professions, all perfect and *them*. The world of the Jazz club was so real to me, I could swear I was there, and I loved the insight we got into Tantor's thought process - all of the germophobic caution and his insecurity with himself and his gentleman qualities, how Terk is the opposite of what he should want, yet he sees the beauty and spirit in her - and she's drawn to him in turn. You did such a solid job at capturing the appeal and possibility between these two~ It was adorable and funny - I definitely giggled at the "Piranha" ref! This comes very late, but thank you very, very much for writing this fill for me! It's really warmed my heart in the best of ways (:

Wow, that was adorable. I'm not sure if I ship it, but I loved seeing human versions of these two -- all the details fit so perfectly. I love when minor characters get the chance to shine in fic. :)
Human AU. Tantor, a fumbling germophobic zoologist, tries to catch the eye of his neighbor, a loud, tomboyish scat musician named Terk.
