Any, post-apocalyptic Zombie AU anonymous July 22 2011, 00:37:39 UTC
Any characters in a post-apocalyptic zombie AU. (preferably no pairings)

Because every fandom meme needs one.

(And y' gotta admit, it'd be pretty cool to see the Disney princesses band together to kick some undead ass)

This one's definitely darker than the earlier ones, but I thought what you did was very interesting! I especially like how you worked in Beast. :)

Thank you! I was thinking about how, in BatB, Belle is willing to do anything (stay in the Beast's castle) for her father, but how she was willing to say no to Gaston... After she met the Beast and fell in love with him. At this point, she hasn't met the Beast, and their's a Z attack, so she has no reason to refuse Gaston, if he protects her father... At least, that's what I was thinking. ^^;

I'm glad you enjoyed it! ♥

Post-A:TLE, but disregarding the sequel. Masterpost is here, with awesome accompanying art from caz2y5 linked and embedded.

Five year old Aurora doesn’t understand why the soldier doesn’t let her and her parents go across the border, out of town and out of danger, but she knows it can’t mean anything good. She squeezes her mother, who is holding her tight and looking on with fear ( ... )

Leah almost doesn’t believe it when a bullet hits her back, but when the second one pierces her body and lands inside her, the pain hits her like a wave. She’s not sure how she manages to hold onto her daughter as she falls, but she does.

Aurora stares at her as they lay side by side on the dirt, blue eyes wide and gleaming. Leah remembers how six years before, she had been in a hospital giving birth to this child. She remembers holding Aurora for the first time and falling in love without a second thought. And she allows herself to cry for the first time that night, ever since the world decided to go to hell and be spat back up, bringing zombies-or something like them-with it.

Too soon. Too soon.Leah runs a trembling hand through Aurora’s hair, her world growing faint, and she kisses her daughter’s forehead ( ... )
