First Dates.

James takes her dancing, and her friends spend the night gently bumping her in the back, giggling as they push the two of them closer together. His hands are tough and calloused, but his palms are warm and comforting around Eudora's.

Eli takes her to his for dinner, and sits what seems like miles away across his big table. The night is quiet, unlike that shindig years ago, and instead of James' confident smile, Eli's white cheeks blush as red as apples when he looks at her. At the end of the night, though, when he kisses the back of her hand, it feels just as warm and comforting as she remembers.

Charlotte giggles as she watches Eli and Eudora through a thin crack in the door, and Tiana rolls her eyes but can't help a quick look alongside her.

Occasionally, the pink-adorned girl stops to squeal, grab her friend and spin her around. "Tia, we're goin' to be sisters!"

Two fills!? I am one lucky prompter. Tia and Lottie are so perfectly in character for this one. I love how excited Lottie is particularly.
