A/N: Habiba means “Loved; beloved friend” in Swahili according to: http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/swahili-names-7.html. Also, information about cheetahs (and probably lions, too) that I found online (Wikipedia in particular), made it into this fic

This was wonderful! Cheetahs get such a bum rap, both in the wild and in The Lion King (one shot of one in the original film, and then the "Cheetahs never prosper" line; even THAT got cut in the remastered version), so it's great to see one being treated with respect.
