Charlotte, having been raised in what qualified as a castle in New Orleans, very quickly found a parlour and settled down in the big armchair in front of the fire.
"My!" she said, running a hand along the armrest. "I'll bet he's awfully big!"
She squealed happily, envisioning a tall, handsome man sweeping her into his arms, having fallen in love with her at first sight. She would giggle, and cling to his chest, and he would lean in and say those magical words:
"Ahem."
Charlotte opened her eyes, startled from her reverie. "I'm sorry?"
There was a clock in front of her, standing on the mantle. On its face was both the time and a mildly affronted expression.
"Mademoiselle, you are sitting in the master's chair. I am very sorry, but I am going to have to ask you to - "
"A talking clock!" she squealed excitedly, in tones that made Cogsworth's springs vibrate uncomfortably. "How adorable!"
He bristled a little at that. He had been a handsome and distinguished man, and he made a handsome and distinguished clock. Adorable was reserved

In the end, she only got her way about Florida. The castle's decor was given a magical makeover once he shyly kissed her for the first time.
Even then, he drew the line at getting unicorns to roam the castle grounds.
Charlotte was yet unfazed when he changed back to his human form ("You're still a handsome prince, darlin'") and, truth to be told, she rather missed the fur.
"At least you're still a beast in bed," she said with a giggle.

Oh lord, Lottie. I laughed and shook my head in equal measure throughout this, as Lottie is her typically ditsy self and yet manages to be quite endearing at the same time. Cute, cute fill.
Lottie would do anything to be a princess, even travel to a cursed castle to try and woo herself a beast.
