Sleeping Beauty, her looks and voice are magical- literally

The gifts that the fairies gave Aurora at her birth? Weren't just frivolous gifts. Her looks are literally bewitching, she can essentially hypnotize people with her beauty, and people become increasingly willing to do anything for her because of how lovely she is. Her voice also has a hypnotic effect- when she's singing, and she can also use her singing to manipulate reality- so, if she sings a song about Phillip being shielded with magic, he'd be shielded with magic.
Fairy folk are immune to her powers, as are her parents, and Phillip, due to them being betrothed before she was given the gifts (they wanted her to know that the people who love her really do love her, and not because of magic.)
Because there was no magic while Aurora/Briar Rose was growing up, her powers were weak pre-sixteenth birthday (or maybe her powers don't kick in until she's 16/18?) IDK.
But.
Aurora learning that the looks/voice thing wasn't just useless gifts, and now that she can learn how to use them... Anyone who underestimates here will regret it.

I appreciate you seconding my prompt, but I'm a little uncomfortable with the fact that it included OUaT!Aurora bashing. Do you think you could maybe not do that? Maybe?

I'm sorry that I made you feel uncomfortable with my honest opinion. I was only saying that your prompt is so interesting that it would be cool to see it used on Once as opposed to the "Aurora loses Phillip/has love triangle with Phillip and Mulan" plot they gave us. As for my comment on Aurora, I wasn't bashing her, although I understand how my strong language might suggest otherwise. I was bashing the horrible writing they've done with her. The fact is, she has done nothing but complain and act useless so far. We only got one glimpse of her being more selfless than she lets on in the Season 2 premiere when it's implied that she sacrificed herself for Phillip's sake. My "bashing" of her has to do with my utter disappointment in how the writers have thus far treated the character compared to how they've treated the other, more popular princesses in the Disney line-up.

Mmm it's not that your opinion itself made me uncomfortable, it was more like, I saw your seconding, and then there was a line about OUAT that seemed kind of out of place. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if it was a comment on the discussion post, but having it show up in a comment on the meme was kind of like O_O.

Um, I realize you have to enforce rules, but, on my part, it was one friggin comment off the top of my head inspired by what I considered a very inspired prompt. The second comment was in response to the other person who I assumed was offended strictly about my comment against Once's Aurora. I'm sorry if that bends everything out of shape. It wasn't meant to.

And I wish they would do something like this on Once Upon A Time. As it stands, they've made Aurora a whiny good for nothing.
