Charlotte had always wanted a prince; she didn't expect to completely charm the Queen of Arendelle (or to be just as charmed by her).

Or anything Charlotte/Elsa. I prefer fluff, but I'm okay with anything that's not dark!fic or sad. ^_^;

Elsa did not have much chance to speak with the guest of the Maldonian royals in the first three days of their visit- barring a friendly smile, a glance over at her, and a “Hello” here and there- as the priority was to have a variety of political meetings and to establish a positive relationship with the Kingdom of Maldonia. And these meetings went over well.

Elsa found Naveen and Tiana very charming, and Naveen and Tiana found Elsa just as charming. Elsa got to show off her ice magic to them, which they found enchanting (Naveen even said so). Tiana got the chance to show off her culinary skills at the small private dinner (to which both Kristoff and Charlotte would be attending) they were to have that third evening. There was to be a ball in two days.

In the time before the dinner, while Naveen chattered with her sister and Kristoff, Elsa had the chance to speak with Charlotte. Charlotte had initiated the conversation.

Awww, this is so cute. I love Elsa's development, the way that she acts keeping a calm layer over her emotions, but them showing through just the same.

And oh man, the detail about Charlotte having to live with sensible shoes because of ice, that's great.

And oops, poor Kristoff trying to give Anna a desperate look only to accidentally look up her dress. Excellent.

Ahhh! *grabby hands* I should have guessed! I tried to count the number of Christmases and... I might have got it wrong, but still.

And apparently I can't do 100% fluff, considering how that line from Elsa snuck in. But they were cute.

For some reason, I can't imagine Elsa in a relationship with someone without that someone being pretty much bffs with Anna. Probably that would even be a dealbreaker for Elsa, whether they got on with Anna or not.
