[The video feed clicks to reveal Syndrome, half-standing half-sitting casually on the side of his desk. His lab is obviously recovering from a fire of some sort, though some of it has already began to be cleaned and reorganized. Syndrome himself looks well enough (but he's leaning against the desk for a reason, kids). And his voice? Is sweet as pie. But serious. He begins with a smile, and then his face turns somber.]
Hey there, all.
Just a quick "hello" from your security team to say that--though one would think this was common knowledge and courtesy--that vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated.
Now, I realize that many of you are young--trust me, I get it. But take it from someone who's witnessed it firsthand...starting down a path of crime this young can lead to some serious repercussions in the future. We're all in this together, remember? And petty acts of disobedience like this...well. It's not going to help any of us, now is it?
[He nods sagely.] Luckily, no one was seriously injured. ["Yet," supplied his mind. He suppressed a snicker.]
So, once again--[His face was pleasant enough, but stern and purposefully caring]--vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated at this Academy.
[His face turns abruptly vicious and he has to speak the last bit through his grit teeth.] And neither will theft.
