004 | On the Nature of Hiding | [voice/action] OTA

Jan 26, 2011 11:00

[very reluctantly, the audio pops to life--there's a considerable quiet--the sounds of metal on metal and creaking screws can be heard...finally, he sighs]

Salutations, Academy. For anyone still paining to sign up for my class-- Applicable Sciences and Technologies--, do so, as there are still slots left and whatnot. As I've said before, this is not your easy class. And I don't do grading curves. For my current students, papers on statistical mechanics in relation to the Gibbs Paradox will be due by Monday instead of Friday.

[a clatter of tools--]

I wouldn't expect this kind of charity on a regular basis.

Megamind
Harbinger of all things Doom and Evil

[The audio feed cuts off. He's been rather good at hiding out the past few days. At the moment, though, for the first time in a good while, you'll be able to find him in his room. He's working for once, instead of flitting around campus to avoid certain people. And taking care of his new roommate.

He's sitting, in a chair, fixing and reconstructing his Brainbots, occasionally getting up to write something down on the far wall, one covered in papers, charts, photographs and information about the Mist, the school, and maybe even just some people.

He sighs, leaning back in his chair. A fantastic start to the year so far.]
