[Memory problems? Miguel can relate. And even if he couldn't, who is he to refuse a beautiful woman in distress? He shows up on her comm screen with his most welcoming smile, providing his own soothing theme music via mandolin.]
A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Missus Giselle Philip! I am Miguel, teacher's aide.
I don't mean to dampen anyone's mood, but I couldn't help noticing your talk of memory problems. If it's not too much trouble, would you care to elaborate?
[She scrunches her nose up in thought, then frowns.]
Well, I'm not... really sure of what to say. I just don't really remember anything, except that I'm supposed to teach here, and I'm married. And I forgot that, too, until I saw my invitation...
Memory loss to that extreme a degree can most usually be attributed to bodily injury of some kind. Otherwise... Emotional damage, perhaps, a psychological reaction of self-protection. But I digress, I suppose.
I'm Doctor Delbert Doppler. I teach physics classes here at the Academy.

Have you been here long?

Oh my... you can't remember anything? Perhaps you should see our school psychologist? Um... I-I mean... no disrespect, ma'am.
[She really hopes she didn't just offend a new teacher.]

I don't think that's necessary, dear, but thank you so much for your concern! I'm sure my memory will come back, eventually.
Until then, I suppose I'll just have to make new memories!

[She glances down at herself, eyebrows furrowed. Then, OH CRAP WIDE-EYED STARE.]
Should I be?

Well, it's lovely to meet you, Doctor, but-
I can't imagine anything like that happened to me.
Maybe it's just one of those things that can't be explained! Like love. Only... not as good...

[These things would be useful, yes. But how hard could it be to cook and sew? There are books that have instructions in them.]
