[Well, he's gotta admit, this was definitely the worst timing ever for a triumphant, widely celebrated return to the Academy. At the very least, he was able to spend the time with Mulan. He'd missed her even more than he expected he would, so being back in a room with her was almost like coming home for a second time.

Showtime.
The stone of the gargoyle seems to crackle along that beak and over the entire body of the statute. A bright light emits itself through the cracks and the statue begins to move. Breaking out of the statue was a red creature, with blowing white eyes, letting out a giant yawn, which could be easily mistaken for a roar, stretching his arms and wings high into the air.*
