For the first time in almost a year. I guess I was just able to regain some sleep and my appetite, finally, and sort of some of my issues. Once I had the oppertunity to do that, everything just seemed... brighter.
[Jasmine looked so content - peaceful and happy and more like the princess he'd known back in Agrabah - that, for a long while, Aladdin was simply to stand at a distance and watch her.
He was relieved that her current predicament wasn't getting her down, though he knew it must be a weight on her shoulders. It was certainly a weight on his. There was still no sign of Hades, but he could appear at any moment. At the moment, Aladdin had no idea how he would stop him from taking her. He only knew that he would.
With a warm smile, Aladdin sat down next to Jasmine and produced an apple from her pocket, tossing it up in the air, catching it again and then offering it over.]
[Jasmine catches it, but just barely. She hadn't been expecting the apple. She turns to him and gives him a small smile.]
Thank you.
[It's painful sitting next to him, moreso that she wished to convey let alone admit to herself. Aladdin was still the source of the main ball of confusion in her heart; all the doubts that Mozenrath helped impliment were still there, despite the Sorcerer's silence as of late.
However, she had already promised herself to enjoy what time she had left... she wasn't about to let the scars and wounds from months past stop her just yet.]
*A few minutes after the sun completely sets, there's a ruffle of wings and a large shadow looms over Jasmine. But if she were to look up, she'll see a familiar red gargoyle perched atop the fountain, balancing precariously on it as he looks down at her with a cheerful smile. She looks so happy for once! Plus, he wanted to check in on her after her whole... zombie thing.
He lifts a hand and waves, trying to act cool as he tries to perch a little more... relaxed-like on the fountain. PLAY IT COOL BROOK, play it cool...*
*He waves his hand up in the air* Are you kidding me? I'm just fine--
*His foot slips however, and he's sent tumbling down into the fountain with a loud splash. He sits in the fountain uncomfortably, soaked from head to toe with water. Comically, he even spits out some water in a steady stream for a few moments before sputtering.*

Seriously, this is beginning to scare me.
[ Meg's just gonna waltz right up. Swoosh. ]

I am not sure. But, we are probably breaking some cosmic rule by not being miserable. [She laughs lightly a little, despite it all.]

[ She takes a seat next to her with a smirk. ]
I don't wanna jinx it, but. What's got you so up and about? You're definitely looking better.

This seems awfully familiar, would you not agree?

At least we didn't have to run through the marketplace to earn it this time.

I wonder if Abu will be as upset this time. [She remembers him being none-too-happy with her that evening, so long ago.]

Evening, Jasmine. You're looking quite happy today.

Good evening, Brooklyn. And yes, I am feeling better than I have in months.
[It only registers then that he doesn't look so stable...]
Be careful up there; I have a feeling that stone is quite slick.

Okay, maybe you were right.

...I warned you. [And princess doesn't look very pleased with the bit of water that hit her. She sighs. Nothing she could do about it now.]
Are you okay, though?
