[Technically, it was part of her job.
She had to make sure that the weapons still fired as close to authentically as possible when the ammunition rounds were swapped.
However, being part of her job didn't mean that Helga didn't enjoy the familiar kickback of a rifle when she fired it. She cocked it and fired again. A small hitch in the trigger, but that might just be the make of the gun.
Three racks, each with ten guns, were set up near her. She'd narrowed down the guns for her marksmanship class to these possible models based on size, weight, and manufacturer. Now all she needed to really decide which one to mass order was a proper field test.
Two splashes of red already colored the target at the end of the shooting range.
She fired one more shot with the rifle before switching it out for a different model.]
