Curiouser and Curiouser...

A young woman at the age of nineteen, a one Alice Kingsley, has seemed to have lost herself again. She often does this on a daily basis, usually in her own mind. But every once in a while she loses herself in a more...physical sense. This seems to be one of those cases.

She looks around, but can see nothing and nobody. She can't recall falling down

Do this often? [Because this wizard is obviously paying attention this time. Not that she really cares. She wanted a cute guy, but no, she gets another girl.

Alice is caught off guard, unaware that anyone was listening to her. She could have sworn that a second ago, nobody was even here. She has had experiences with evaporating cats, but not so much with evaporating humans.

Alice gives the (oddly dressed) young woman a weak smile. She's not sure how to answer to question without sounding completely off-her-head. "I...don't do this often. This being ending up in places I don't know...or at least haven't been to in a while."

But either way, Alice is grateful to see somebody else in this otherwise isolated and strange place. Thinking it only polite, she curties. "My name is Alice Kingsley. May I inquire what your name is - and where I might be?"

Hey, there's no need for the bowing or whatever. Anyway, I'm Alex Russo. This place - [She looks around her:] Is some sort of dimensional nexus, so I've heard.

Alice furrows her brow in confusion. "Excuse me - a dimensional what?"

Wish I could answer that for ya, trust me.

[At this point, Alice might find herself in the company of an irritated and disgruntled secret super pop star. Miley has been here for a while, and is still not amused.]

Alice is a bit taken aback by the frusteration in this young lady's voice. She looks more upset and confused then when Alice fell down that rabbit hole a second time.

"Excuse me miss, but are you alright?" she asks politely.

Well, considering the fact that I just got thrown into this lame world with nothing but my sanity and my two best friends aren't here at all... I guess it could be better.

Never seen you 'round here. You new?

"New? Well, I've just come here, if that's what you're saying. Of course, I'm not sure how I came here..." Alice thought for a moment. "Do you suppose this might just be a dream?"

[is it? really, truly, utterly, entirely--is it?? oh, what a cruel trick his eyes would play on him if it were so! He's spotted her golden locks from quite the ways away--and breaks into a run, nearly skidding as he stops before her...and here, he was so certain he would never see her again]

Alice's face instantly lights up as a mop of red hair and glowing green eyes runs towards her. He can feel all her worries and fear seep out of her at the sight of her old friend. As soon as he's near enough, she pulls him into an embrace.

"Of course it's me!" she says with a laugh, her head resting on his shoulder. "Who else would I be?"

Alice gently squeezes him in her arms and whispers "Hatter" to cut off his rambling. But she instantly wishes she hadn't - it was too wonderful to hear his ramblings again, especially then they were specificaly and undeniably his.

"I would very much like it if you never frowned again, Hatter. The world has had it's fill of frowns, and needs a few more smiles to go around," Alice smiles herself as she says this, "Especially yours."
