The Basics
• Name: Heather
• Age: 23
• How would you describe yourself?(includes strengths and flaws): INFP. Strong sense of honor. Honesty. Loyalty. Introspection. Friendly. Introverted. EXTREMELY emotional. Passionate. Outspoken. Fiery. Creative. Determined. Sensitive. Unfocused. Judgmental.
• What are you passionate about? Being with my friends and family, equality and quality life for everyone, music and art in the schooling systems
• Pet Peeves? Huge amounts of negativity, hypocritical behavior, any kind of -ism ("isms, in my opinion, are not good," after all), large crowds full of slow-walkers, bigotry
• What are you not so good at? Controlling my emotions, math, staying motivated
• Do you have any talents? Art! I also dabble in creative writing, and I used to be pretty decent on the flute back when I played. I'm hoping to pick that back up this year.
• How do you view friendship? Incredibly important. As someone who has emotions that can sometimes get out of control, especially when things get tough, it's nice to know I'll always have people around to support me if I need them, who I can then support in turn during their own bad times.
• Family, friends, lovers, possessions, careers. What order would you put these, from highest to lowest priority? Family, Friends, Lovers (only because I've never had one, so I've no idea what it's like), Careers, Possessions.
Favorites
• Favorite Color(s) and why? I enjoy bright colors like hot pink, electric blue, and orange. They're a nice little triad of jazzy colors. I also like the way brown goes with jade greens and blues, as well as hot pink. It keeps the colors grounded in a neutral tone.
• Favorite Place(s) and why? Houston, TX because that is where I grew up and am from. I also obviously enjoy Disneyworld. I'd also like to visit Ireland and England one day, because I think I'd enjoy them very much.
• Favorite Movie(s) and why? Back to the Future, because I LOVE time travel, and Big Fish, because I am a complete and total sap for parent/child stories. I cry the entire last half hour of that movie.
• Favorite Book(s) and why? Harry Potter (specifically, the Order of the Phoenix)-- the series because it's about learning how important love and friendship is in the face of hardship, and that book in particular because it's about how important it is to unite against a common evil and punish it! >:3
• Favorite Television Show(s) and why? My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, because I've always been a huge lover of cartoons, and I think it enforces positive messages for young children, and is also a feminist-positive show (as much as the fandom would have you believe otherwise e_e)
• Favorite Food(s) and why? I love mongolian beef over rice with a nice dollop of chili garlic sauce over it-- the flavoring for mongolian beef is delicious and tangy, and the chili garlic sauce offers the spicy kick I enjoy in most foods. Honorable mentions include tacos and hamburgers, because I'm hopelessly American.
This or That
• Implusive or Cautious: I like to look before I leap. I tend to have gut feelings about things, which I then research and act on. That way, if anyone asks, I can give them reasoning beyond "it just FELT right." I operate that way, but nobody likes to hear that. :P
• Optimistic or Pessimistic: Head in the clouds, feet on the ground. I'm idealistic, but I understand that I get out of things what I put into them. I'm hopeful, I guess you could say. Not resigned.
• Mature or not so mature: I have problems controlling my temper, so in that respect, I could use some work, but at the same time I get along best with people who are 5-10 years older than me, because I understand the importance of things like not being a flake and being there for people, so in THAT case, I AM mature.
• Confident or Shy: It depends where. Internet? Pretty confident. I'm eloquent, and that gets me a long way. In real life, depending on how I feel about my body, I can be outgoing or really hidden away. I definitely deal with weight insecurity.
• Introverted or Extroverted: I'm an introvert that needs a few close friends at all times to function well without feeling lonely.
• What's your favorite Disney couple? Why? Beast/Adam and Belle, I guess. I liked the dynamic of the both of them learning to overcome their differences. It makes for great fiction, though that is not necessarily how I'd like to fall in love. I'm much more of a 'fall in love with your own best friend' kind of person.
• Which Disney character could you imagine being best friends with? Why? Mulan, because she is strong, takes destiny into her own hands, doesn't take no for an answer, but also understands the importance of family and friends. She's also more outgoing than I am, and I tend to gravitate towards people like that.
• Which Disney character could you imagine being romantically involved with? Why? Maybe Sully? He seems soft, emotional, understanding, and responsible, but is also very protective and will fight for the things he cherishes most, which are all qualities I love. <3
