Because Lilo and Phineas' muns were busy meta-playing this in AIM and Phineas' mun is far too lazy to sift through the log file, edit out their screen names, put things up in a journal and hope to god the muse doesn't die of embarrassment, a lot of followers of the story will have to go on hearsay and assumption for what happened last night. Let's ( Read more... )

Isabella had to walk through the quad to get back to her dorm after her Philosophy class. Having no idea what had gone on the night before, she wasn't necessarily in a sour mood. When she caught sight of Phineas, she grinned and glanced at the girls she was walking with.

"Okay! I'll meet up with you guys later to study for that test!" she told them, waving them off when she reached where he was. "Hey Phineas! Whatcha doin'?"

She had a feeling it had something to do with that carnival he had been talking about the other day, but she just wanted to make sure.

"Oh hey, Isabella!" Phineas said, more or less able to hold a whole conversation with her while working, writing down measurements before shouting to the guys, "Okay! Now we need someone to go measure the height and circumference of the widest part of the trees. The branches, not the trunk. Thanks!" He turned to her and grinned, "Takin' measurements so we know how much room we've got for rides! The fair will be not this weekend, but next weekend. These people work so slow."

Isabella grinned, glancing around at all the others helping out. "That's what I thought... So they approved the idea for rides and everything?" she replied, tilting her head.

"And you know, not everyone can be as quick to build things as you and Ferb. Anything I can do to help?"

"Yep! The current measurements look like they'll fit only about four rides in this lawn, but if we extend into the parking lot, we'll be able to fit a dozen, easy," Phineas said, motioning out toward the parking lot that had a lot more space. It was one of about five on campus, so he figured they wouldn't mind just a little improvisation and careful finagling of room they had. He showed her a preliminary sketch of what he already had planned out. "It looks like we'll easily be able to have close to 30 booths in the quad with the stage in the center, and if we charge for the rides and get some sponsors in - we'd be crazy if we didn't - we could fund the entire fair and also be able to divvy the rest of the profits into the rest of the extracurricular stuff. It's going to be great!"

He looked over at her, "Well, it would be great to have more help in getting the word out about it. The more exposure this gets in the next couple weeks, the more successful it'll be." He grinned confidently, "You can do that really well, I know you've got
