Lilo's brown hair popped around the statue, grinning. "Boo!" She sat down next to the girl, shrugging. "Sorry, you looked like you'd seen a ghost, so I figured maybe if you jumped a little, it'd help. Like hiccups. Or when your foot's asleep." She waved a little.

Meg froze when the other girl attempted to make her jump. Well, she almost had. She glanced at the girl and tried her best not to roll her eyes. "I just thought I saw something-- er-- someone that I'd rather not..."

She pursed her lips and tried to go back to reading, but the girl sat down next to her. "How does jumping help when your foot's asleep, anyways?"

"Let me guess, a boy?" She noticed that the other girl was trying to read and clapped a hand over her mouth. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I've totally messed up the suspension of disbelief. I can go! ... and it gets the blood circulating properly. Well, if you don't fall over."
