Franny was not one for paying attention when she walked across campus. Today, like most days, she plugged in the earbuds of her ipod and turned up the volume as she headed off to her destination. Stretch was walking through campus himself, although with a decidedly less set path. The reason for this is because he'd lost a notebook of his, and was currently using a free period to search it out. This involved not only a visual search but asking other students as well, and so far... he'd gotten nowhere. Nothing. No sign of it. Sighing resignedly, and mentally berating himself for being careless enough to have lost it in the first place, he turned to try in a new direction.

That was when he nearly tripped over Franny going by, catching himself before contact and stumbling back a step or two. He blurted out a "Sorry!" then realized she had earbuds in and likely wouldn't hear it anyway. So Stretch settled for a little wave she might see before he turned back the way he'd been going, to continue the search.

Truthfully she hadn't heard what Stretch had said, but she had heard something so she popped the earbuds out and looked around. "Oh, sorry! Did you say something?" she asked.
