no real preference, though both are missing things I grew up with that should return (especially Disneyland's Adventures in Inner Space). Disneyland is the weaker of the two right now, with so much wasted real-estate

I've never been to disneyland but i can kind of visualize what you are talking about. Sounds like they have alot of attractions that are no longer there.
I do agree w/ you on the carousel of progress area. I woulnd't want them to get rid of it since it's a classic for disney, but maybe that stage next to it that is hardly ever used could be used for something else.
I should add, Tomorrowland's real estate issue is much improved with the opening of Nemo Submarines, but that has the side effect: great ride though it is, it is no longer "Tomorrowland". In a sense, it's more an Adventureland ride that happens to be blue instead of green (though one could argue it always was...).
