No Ping Pong Clubin the top 10? Weep weep. Maybe top 20? Anyway, that looks like a pretty solid list. For comedy I'd recommend Ebichu, Sexy Commando, and Cromartie High. My knowledge of serious anime is very small--I recommend some of the lesser known Studio Ghibli films like "Only Yesterday," "Ocean Waves" and "Whisper of the Heart." I like those even more than the fantasy Ghiblis, and in a way they're more mature.
argh i want to see the kenshin ova. i have the tv series on cd, but never got around to watching them, wasn't a big fan of the episodes i did see. i also really want to see excel saga, since puni puni poemi was fantastic, one of my favorites behind FLCL. end of evangelion makes up for alot of the shit in the series.
oh, and i totally agree about naruto. thing that constantly amazes me about it, besides the art (i got the art book in japan, it's amazing), is the consistently great writing. it's like they took the best hooks and plot devices from other series (super saiyan in dbz=kyuubi naruto) and perfectly adapted them.
i used to watch tylor on ichannel, but sadly didn't see very much.
