OK, I am now using Joachim's old Mac, because the 5-year-old PC my Mom gave me now has a blurry screen, and my 8-year-old thinkpad (a fine machine) freezes every couple hours ( Read more... )

Click on the apple (what color is it by the way, rainbow, or a solid blue or silver?), then select "About this Mac."

okay, so I think that you're probably on OS 10 at least...when you click on "about this mac" it should tell you the version.
