It was nice, one of the smoothest, best funded and organized marches I've been to. Huge crowd but you never felt hemmed in anywhere, you could always hear and see what was happening onstage from anywhere in the mall, enough portosans that there was never a line
( ... )
I wasn't at the protest or anything, but, not all people who are against abortion are full of hatred. I don't want to get into any type of debate or anything, but *both* sides have valid concerns (people at rallies and protests do not necessarily reflect the views of people who weren't there), not just yours.
Of course these folks do not at all represent everyone on that side of the debate, and that's my point. They do a disservice to their side by coming across that way, and would do well to reconsider their tactics.
It was epic. Fantastic. Clean, peaceful, organized--so much so that I had to seriously reconsider the benefits of a matriarchy.
SO MANY WEE GIRLS in PINK!!! I actually have hope for this generation, and that's saying something! The speakers were righteous, articulate, and focused. The solidarity and diversity of the marchers was astounding. A++++++++++++++

And we almost died on the ride home.
